Dr. Arun Njanapilly Madhavan

Dr. Arun Njanapilly Madhavan is a Consultant in Diabetes and Internal Medicine at Welcare Hospital and at Quality Clinic, both of which are located at Palakkad in Kerala. Prior to his current assignments, Dr. Madhavan worked as a Consultant in Internal Medicine and Diabetes at the Palakkad Government District Hospital, from 1997 to 2004.

Dr. Arun Madhavan obtained the MBBS degree from Government Medical College, Calicut, in 1993. He then studied and trained at the same institution for the MD (General Medicine) postgraduate degree, which he was awarded in 1997. Dr. Madhavan has also completed training in Diabetes from MDRF, Chennai.

Dr. Madhavan has been active in several local chapters of medical associations and in organising committees for conferences in the state of Kerala. He is the Founder Secretary of the Palakkad Diabetes Research Forum. He is also a Trainer for the National Diabetes Educator Programme.
